What about taking back my old mattress?

Taking back your old mattress is an ecological and responsible approach that aims to give this product a second life. Please note that we take back your mattress free of charge . To do this, a few steps are necessary:

After receiving your new mattress, contact our customer service at sav@morpheabed.com to confirm in writing the collection of your old mattress. Include at least 5 photos of your old mattress in the email. Our partner Smart Back will then contact you to schedule a collection date. On the collection day, carefully wrap the mattress in a special mattress protective cover and drop it off at the doorstep or at the foot of your building.

However, be aware that there are other equally responsible solutions for getting rid of your old mattress:

  • Donate to charity : You may want to consider donating your mattress to a local charity. Many charities accept donations of gently used furniture for distribution to those in need.

  • Municipal Services : You can also contact your city's municipal services to find out about bulky waste collection procedures. They can provide information on collection days or authorized drop-off locations for proper mattress disposal.

Please note that the return of old mattresses is only available in mainland France.

Morphea is registered in the national register of furniture marketers under number FR038519_10UGBX. This number guarantees that Morphea, as a member of Éco-mobilier, complies with the regulatory obligations incumbent upon it under Article L 541-10-1 10° of the French Environmental Code.

If our products do not meet your expectations, simply contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email to arrange a return. Our dedicated team will be there to guide you every step of the way and dispatch a carrier team. It is important to confirm your return request in writing to the after-sales service.

We understand that bulky products can be difficult to handle. Don't worry, for mattresses, mattress toppers, and even pillows, a carrier will pick up the product directly from your home.

Conditions of products to be returned

Your body needs a moment of adaptation

To fully appreciate the quality of your Morphea mattress, we recommend sleeping on it for 30 days before considering a return. If, despite this, you still don't get used to your mattress, we will do our best to make your experience the best possible.

To be eligible for a refund, mattresses and mattress toppers must be in perfect condition, without stains, damage, or alterations.

For accessories (bed linen, pillows, blankets, bedspreads, duvets), they must remain unopened to be refunded. In accordance with Article L221-28, Art. 5 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to certain items unsealed after delivery, for reasons of hygiene and health protection.

Finally, to be eligible for a refund, beds and storage beds must not have been assembled.

Please also note that it is important to wrap your mattress or mattress topper in plastic packaging before collection by the carrier. The carrier may refuse the product if it is not properly packaged. Once packaged, please leave it at the doorstep or at the foot of your building.

Before your package is handed over to our carrier for collection, we ask you to take photos of the product before and after packaging (a minimum of 5 photos is required, taken from different angles for better viewing). We then ask you to send them to us to finalize the return procedure. This will help ensure efficient product return management.

Refund & return costs

As soon as we receive your merchandise, we will refund your order, taking into account the return shipping costs, within 14 business days. For installment payments (2, 3, or 4 installments) made through our partner Alma, we will refund you proportionally to the installments already paid, while stopping any future receivables. Our commitment to transparency is clear, and the return shipping costs, detailed below, are deducted from the total refund amount. This way, you can avoid any unpleasant surprises:

  • Mattresses, mattress toppers, box springs and storage beds: €70 ,
  • Pillows, bed linen, blankets, duvets and bedspreads: 5.00.

For countries outside France: return costs are €80 for mattresses and mattress toppers and €50 for pillows and accessories.

We would like to remind you that any cancellation of an order after it has been shipped will incur a €50 fee. To avoid this fee, we invite you to contact us before shipping your order.
